Himgiri trust has adopted a remote village called Ambegaon near Lonavala. The village was adopted with the people living under poverty line.Re-establishment work of village has been ceaselessly going on since several years.The rural upliftment has been going on as follows.

Practical inputs of H.S.R.T.C.

a)		Agricultural development & technical knowhow for the same.
b)		Drinking water is facilited to whole village from a lake in the valley to the village situated on the hill.
c)		Distribution of cows to the villages for the nourishment of their children & family members.
d)		For the self-reliance of the villagers, cultivation of fruits & vegetables on the rocky mountains with the help of dedicated devotees.
e)		For the health of the villagers, free medical service is been rendered to hundred of people every month. More over for the systematic education, training & treatment of one & all, nature cure centre is started by the trust.
f)		To create employment opportunities for villagers, the trust has started a project called "Village Cottage Industry".
g)		Because of the activities of the Himgiri trust, people from different parts of India & the world have started visiting Ambegaon which otherwise was unknown to surrounding villages also.
h)		We have provided free home to villagers, who were staying in huts.
