Pioneering activities of H.S.R.T.C.  was started in the year 1983 by Pujya Guruji, founder of H.S.R.T.C.

Guruji adopted the path of Dhyana, Sahaja yoga & seva. He practiced the spiritual applications like Initiation, Mantra, Prasada, Blessed Water & Blessings to awaken the latent  divinity within man & to bring out transformation of human consciousness into all pervasive divine consciousness.

For the world wide expansions of these pioneering activities, Himgiri spiritual research & Training centre was founded in the year 1989.

In the year 1989 a village; Ambegaon (Now Gurugaon) , Post : Pawana Nagar, Tal : Mawal, Dist : Pune was adopted with the aim of creating divine paradise in the natural, panoramic place for the spiritual aspirants of the world.d.

During the period of 1989-1993, healing centres were opened in Lonavala, Nashik, Pune, Delhi, Punjab  and other places all over India.

At the request of the non-residential sadhakas, Healing  centers were opened at London & Holland in 1993.

In the year 1994, construction of Guru Mandir, Nature Cure clinic, hospital & hermitages (abode of spiritual aspirants) was completed.

In the year 1995, H.S.R.T.C. opened a Lakeview Nature Cure Research & Training centre, as an attempt of bringing people close to nature. Under auspices of L.N.R.T.C. a one year diploma course in nature cure was started.

During the period of 1995-1999 a series of camps on yoga, Nature-cure, moral value based educational camps & stress management camps were organised.

In the year 1999 His Holiness Jagadguru Shri Shankaracharya of Puri visited Gurugaon & inaugurated a seminar on philosophy.

In the year 2000, H.S.R.T.C. opened a research centre to provide an unique opportunity of realising scriptural truths through Practical workshop besides learning them in the theory in natural atmosphere of Gurugaon to the students who wants to do doctorate in field of philosophy.This centre is recognised by the university of Pune, India. In December 2000 Vice Chancellor of the University of Pune inaugurated a seminar on philosophy.

On 8th April 2001 Hanuman Temple's "Pranpratisthan" (Establishment of Power) was done. As Lord Hanuman is the personification of self less service and devotion, which are chief qualities of a good disciple
